Singer bans MAGA hats from her shows after Trump supporter drowned in vulgar chants

American singer Ashnikko publicly banned MAGA hats from her concerts this week after a Trump supporter was jeered at her Orlando show for wearing one.

"I would just like to reaffirm that MAGA hats are not [expletive] allowed at my shows," Ashnikko told the crowd at her Miami concert, which erupted in cheers.

The clip was posted to TikTok on Friday, appearing to be a direct response to the Orlando incident earlier this week, where concertgoers broke into chants of "[expletive] Donald Trump" as the MAGA-hat-wearing attendee tried to cover his face.

Ashnikko, known for her outspoken progressive politics and devoted queer fanbase, uses she/her and they/them pronouns and has publicly identified as pansexual and genderfluid. She has long been a vocal advocate for social justice causes.
