MANILA, Philippines – Senator Jinggoy Estrada is now detained at the New Quezon City Jail in Payatas as he faces a non-bailable plunder case.

The Sandiganbayan 5th Division issued an arrest warrant against Estrada on Monday, June 1. He is the highest incumbent public official to have been ordered arrested over the flood control mess.
