HBAR price prediction shows potential 25% upside to $0.15 within 30 days if key resistance at $0.13 breaks, though current technical indicators suggest caution.

HBAR Price Prediction: Technical Indicators Point to Critical Juncture

Hedera (HBAR) finds itself at a pivotal moment as December 2025 draws to a close. With the token trading at $0.12 and displaying mixed technical signals, our comprehensive HBAR price prediction analysis reveals both opportunity and risk ahead for investors considering whether to buy or sell HBAR.

HBAR Price Prediction Summary

Our Hedera technical analysis indicates the following specific targets:

HBAR short-term target (1 week): $0.1186 (-1.2% from current levels)
Hedera medium-term forecast (1 month): $0.1193-$0.15 range (+25% upside potential)
Key level to break for bullish continuation: $0.13 (SMA 20 resistance)
Critical support if bearish: $0.11 (52-week low and strong support)

Recent Hedera Price Predictions from Analysts

The latest HBAR price prediction consensus from major platforms shows cautious optimism despite current market conditions. CoinCodex’s December 15th forecast targets $0.1186 in the short term, aligning closely with our technical analysis that suggests limited downside from current levels.

Coinbase’s longer-term Hedera forecast of $0.16 represents a 33% premium to current prices, though their 5-year projection methodology may not capture near-term technical developments. Meanwhile, AI-driven predictions from CoinArbitrageBot target $0.12589, suggesting modest upside potential.

The convergence of these predictions around the $0.119-$0.126 range indicates a cautious market consensus, with most analysts viewing current levels as relatively fair value.

HBAR Technical Analysis: Setting Up for Consolidation

The current Hedera technical analysis reveals a token caught between competing forces. With an RSI of 32.20, HBAR sits in neutral territory but closer to oversold conditions, potentially setting up for a relief bounce.

The MACD histogram at -0.0012 confirms bearish momentum remains intact, while the token’s position at 0.06 within the Bollinger Bands suggests HBAR is trading near the lower band support at $0.11. This technical setup often precedes either a bounce back toward the middle band ($0.13) or a breakdown below key support.

Volume analysis shows $16.5 million in 24-hour trading on Binance, indicating moderate interest but lacking the conviction needed for a sustained breakout. The daily ATR of $0.01 suggests current volatility remains manageable for position sizing.

Hedera Price Targets: Bull and Bear Scenarios

Bullish Case for HBAR

Our optimistic HBAR price target scenario envisions a move to $0.15 within 30 days, representing a 25% gain from current levels. This Hedera forecast requires:

  • A decisive break above the SMA 20 at $0.13
  • RSI momentum building above 40 to confirm buying interest
  • Volume expansion above $25 million daily to validate the breakout

If these conditions align, the next HBAR price target would be the immediate resistance at $0.15, with potential extension toward the 52-week high of $0.22 in a more extended bullish scenario.

Bearish Risk for Hedera

The downside case for our HBAR price prediction centers on a break below the critical $0.11 support level. Should this 52-week low fail to hold, the next logical target would be psychological support at $0.10, representing a 17% decline from current levels.

Key bearish catalysts to monitor include continued MACD deterioration, RSI falling below 30 into oversold territory, and daily volume remaining below $15 million, indicating lack of buying interest.

Should You Buy HBAR Now? Entry Strategy

Based on our Hedera technical analysis, the optimal strategy for those looking to buy or sell HBAR involves a tiered approach:

For bullish positioning: Consider initial entries at current levels ($0.12) with additional purchases on any dip toward $0.115. Set stop-losses below $0.109 to limit downside risk, representing roughly 8% from current prices.

Risk management: Given the mixed technical picture, position sizes should remain modest (1-2% of portfolio) until clearer directional momentum emerges above $0.13 or below $0.11.

Entry confirmation: Wait for either a daily close above $0.13 with expanding volume for bullish entry, or a break below $0.11 for potential short-term bearish positioning.

HBAR Price Prediction Conclusion

Our comprehensive HBAR price prediction suggests a consolidation phase ahead, with the most probable outcome being a test of resistance at $0.13 within the next two weeks. Should this level break with conviction, the Hedera forecast supports a move toward $0.15 by late January 2026.

Confidence level: Medium (65%) for the base case scenario of $0.119-$0.15 range trading over the next 30 days.

Key indicators to monitor: RSI breaking above 40 for bullish confirmation, or falling below 25 for bearish acceleration. Volume expansion above $25 million daily would validate any directional move.

Timeline: Expect resolution of the current consolidation pattern within 10-14 trading days, with the monthly close on December 31st providing crucial technical guidance for January 2026 price action.

The current risk-reward setup favors patient investors willing to buy HBAR on any weakness toward $0.115, while traders should wait for clearer technical signals before committing significant capital to either direction.

The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For

The post The Channel Factories We’ve Been Waiting For appeared on BitcoinEthereumNews.com. Visions of future technology are often prescient about the broad strokes while flubbing the details. The tablets in “2001: A Space Odyssey” do indeed look like iPads, but you never see the astronauts paying for subscriptions or wasting hours on Candy Crush.  Channel factories are one vision that arose early in the history of the Lightning Network to address some challenges that Lightning has faced from the beginning. Despite having grown to become Bitcoin’s most successful layer-2 scaling solution, with instant and low-fee payments, Lightning’s scale is limited by its reliance on payment channels. Although Lightning shifts most transactions off-chain, each payment channel still requires an on-chain transaction to open and (usually) another to close. As adoption grows, pressure on the blockchain grows with it. The need for a more scalable approach to managing channels is clear. Channel factories were supposed to meet this need, but where are they? In 2025, subnetworks are emerging that revive the impetus of channel factories with some new details that vastly increase their potential. They are natively interoperable with Lightning and achieve greater scale by allowing a group of participants to open a shared multisig UTXO and create multiple bilateral channels, which reduces the number of on-chain transactions and improves capital efficiency. Achieving greater scale by reducing complexity, Ark and Spark perform the same function as traditional channel factories with new designs and additional capabilities based on shared UTXOs.  Channel Factories 101 Channel factories have been around since the inception of Lightning. A factory is a multiparty contract where multiple users (not just two, as in a Dryja-Poon channel) cooperatively lock funds in a single multisig UTXO. They can open, close and update channels off-chain without updating the blockchain for each operation. Only when participants leave or the factory dissolves is an on-chain transaction…
