MANILA, Philippines – The police have located bride-to-be Sherra de Juan in Ilocos Region, 19 days after she went missing.
The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) and De Juan’s family are fetching the bride-to-be in Ilocos Region on Monday, December 29. They are expected to return to Manila around 5 pm.
“Patungo na ang mga tauhan ng QCPD PS (Police Station) 5, kasama ang pamilya ni Sherra, upang ligtas at maayos siyang sunduin sa kanyang kinaroroonan,” the QCPD posted on social media.
(Personnel of the QCPD PS 5, together with Sherra’s family, are on the way to safely fetch her.)
Authorities have yet to disclose the exact location where De Juan was found.
De Juan was reported missing on December 10 after going out to buy wedding shoes at a mall in Quezon City. She was last seen at a gasoline station’s waiting shed in North Fairview.
Her fiancé Mark Arjay Reyes was unable to reach out to her as she had left her phone at home.
The QCPD then established a special investigation team on December 15 to look for De Juan. Her fiancé was tagged as a person of interest in the case.
A person of interest means an individual is believed to have vital information on the case and does not equate to being a suspect.
The QCPD earlier said De Juan had been facing financial issues in connection to her wedding and her father’s medical condition, based on a digital forensic examination of her gadgets. – Rappler.com
